Yin Yang 2021 Logo.jpg

Nowoodstock is celebrating their 20th festival August 13, 14 and 15, 2021 in the beautiful town of Ten Sleep along the western flank of the Big Horn Mountains, and is supported in part by a Cultural Trust Fund grant.

For the past two decades Nowoodstock presented the best musical talent Wyoming has to offer.  This year is no different with Prairie Wildfire (Buffalo), Lacy Nelson (Ten Sleep), Low Water String Band (Lander), Taylor Scott Band (originally from Cheyenne), Rob Weimann (Thermopolis), Quinn Cerovski & Black Mountain Blues (Lander), and for the 20 year Jalan Crossland  (Ten Sleep).  Joining the fun is John Robert’s y Pan Blanco (Billings) and The RTs (Brooklyn, NY).  Grady Kirkpatrick of Wyoming Public Radio will broadcast all or part of Saturday’s performances on the Wyoming Sounds network of stations across the state. Nowoodstock is also streamed live on YouTube.

There is plenty of food and beverage choices from vendors as well as jewelry and art. The venue is Vista Park and provides playground equipment, a splash pad and Ten Sleep Creek.

The festival logo for this year is yin/yang, but with a twist. The shading is the roster of bands that have played at Nowoodstock over the past twenty years. Thanks to the artist, Melissa Christmas of Ten Sleep who suffered numerous hand cramps during production.

More info is available at the Nowoodstock website, https://nowoodstock.com/, Facebook and YouTube.
